A common resident found across the region.

Found in many open habitats.

Overwinters as a pupa. The brownish male is active at night and comes readily to light. The white female is more active during the day.

Note the white females are sometimes mistaken for White Ermines but Muslin wings are almost translucent and the species is much smaller.
