A local and uncommon resident in Herefordshire and a single record from Shropshire.

Prefers dense stands of Hop but also in hedges, along ditches and in scrub.

Overwinters an adult, and also comes to house lights etc but not often light-traps.

Verification Grade Comment: Photo needed away from known sites.
