A common species across the region.

Found wherever the foodplant grows.

Overwinters as a pupa and adults come regularly to light.

Note Can be confused with Swallow Prominent. In this species the pale white wedge is smaller and more distinct and extends from the trailing corner of the forewing a third or less of the way to the wing base.
