An uncommon and declining resident, found mainly in the south.

Found in a wide range of habitats such as gardens, allotments, farmland, woodland rides.

Overwinters as an egg while adults are attracted in small numbers to light and sugar.

Note lacks the row of black triangles on the inside of the outer cross-line found in White-line Dart.
