Note Care needed to separate from the commoner Gold Spot. In this species the large triangle near the wing tip is blunt-ended but is sharp and extended in Gold Spot. Also, the cross-lines are more distinct in Lempke's. However, these features are not always clear cut and dissection in advised where doubt exists.
