1 species. A fairly small stout moth usually included in the Macrolepidoptera but in fact a member of a mostly tropical basal family. Nocturnal and having a strange woodlouse shaped larva which has the abdominal legs replaced by small suckers with which it can adhere strongly to the leaf surface. It pupates in a brown silken cocoon which is attached to a leaf and falls to the ground with it in the autumn.
