Nationally a northern and western species but in our region a rare and declining resident in northern areas.
A species of broadleaved woodland, particularly in upland and moorland areas.
Overwinters as an adult. Is attracted to sallow catkins in spring and Ivy in the autumn. Is attracted to light.
