A common resident across the region.

A species of broadleaved woodland, scrub and gardens.

Overwinters as a pupa while adults come readily to light and can also be seen on flowers and sugar patches.

Note can be confused with The Fan-foot but in that species the outer cross-line does not extend to the wing-tip as it does in Small Fan-foot.
