Fairly common resident.

Betula spp. with larva feeding in May and July initially in a blotch in a leaf and then in cones made by transversely rolling the leaf.

Verification Grade Comment: Adults cannot reliably be separated from C. elongella except by genitalia examination.

Determination by Genitalia Examination (gen. det.) Required
