Fairly common resident.
Populus spp and Salix spp. with larva feeding at first in the catkins and then in spun leaves. Adults can be found resting on the trunks of poplars and sallows. Recorded in 70 (50%) of 140 10k Squares. First Recorded in 1886. Last Recorded in 2023. (Data up to end 2023) |
