Uncommon resident.

Larval habits uncertain but in captivity has fed on a variety of herbaceous plants, grasses, oak and hawthorn leaves.

Comes to light and can be swept from vegetation.

A sexually dimorphic species, males being generally larger and with less distinct markings.
