Rare resident, split from pasiuana in 2010 and the first Herefordshire records were confirmed in 2020 from 2 sites.

On many herbaceous plants especially Asteraceae with larva feeding in May/June on spun flowers.

Determination by Genitalia Examination (gen. det.) Required

Recorded in 6 (4%) of 140 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 2012.
Last Recorded in 2022.
