Fairly common resident.

Salix spp. and less frequently Populus spp., Betula spp., Alnus glutinosa, Corylus avellana with larva feeding May/June in spun leaves and shoots.

Verification Grade Comment: If the notch in the costa looks shallower than normal, retain for dissection
