Rare resident.

On Frangula or Rhamnus with larva from September to April, overwintering full-fed in a cocoon, and again in June/July, feeding in folded and spun leaves.

Recorded in 4 (3%) of 140 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1895.
Last Recorded in 2016.
