Rare resident, the only records coming from an abandoned plantation of nordmann fir, grown for Christmas trees, near Worcester (B.Dykes 2016). More specimens were recorded from there in April and May 2017, but the site has now been lost to development.

Abies spp. Picea abies and possibly P. sitchensis, with larva feeding June/July, at first mining the needles; later in spun terminal shoots.

Moths may be swept from the foodplant.

Last Recorded in 2017.
