Very common resident.

Betula spp. and Alnus glutinosa with larva feeding in buds and catkins from September to March and in rolled leaves in July.

A very variable species but most forms showing, to some degree, the paler diamond shape on the dorsal area.

First Recorded in 1867.
Last Recorded in 2022.
