Scoparia subfusca

Haworth, 18111332 / 63.062

A fairly common species of rather open habitats as well as gardens where it can be found resting on rocks, walls, tree trunks etc. The adults are readily disturbed during the day and later come to light.

Note One of the larger Scoparia species generally told by its rather uniform brownish grey colour, simple markings and lack of a subterminal line. The contrast between the pale cross-lines and their dark edges is variable but never striking.
