Eudonia truncicolella

A fairly common species of woodland, heathland, parkland and sometimes gardens. Easily disturbed by day and adults come readily to light.

Note it is very similar to E. murana but that species has a white spot on the thorax that this species lacks. Also, in E. truncicolella the costal end of the postmedian line is angled towards the wing base, while in E. murana it is more angled towards the apex.
