Platyptilia gonodactyla

Uncommon resident.

Tussilago farfara, Petasites hybridus with larva feeding in July/August and September to May. At first mining then externally on the leaves in summer. In spring, mining leaves and entering the stem to feed on flowers and seeds. An occupied shoot may droop and retain the seed-down.
