Bucculatrix cristatella

Uncommon local resident.
Flies June and August.
Larvae on Achillea millefolium. feeding in April/May and July.
Mining the leaf and then feeding externally causing the tips of the leaflets to appear brown and wilted.
Distinctive ribbed cocoons can sometimes be found on the leaves.
