Coleophora badiipennella

Fairly common resident.

Ulmus spp. with larva mining leaves from September to May in a bivalved case made from pieces cut from the leaf margin. It feeds in two small cases in the autumn, and usually in a bigger case in the spring, but sometimes finishes feeding in autumn.
