Dasystoma salicella

Rare resident.

Vaccinium myrtillus, Rhamus catharticus, Cornus sanguinea, Salix spp. and various spp. of Rosaceae. Male flies in sunshine around midday, with larva feeding in rolled or folded leaves from June to September.
