Local resident.

May be recorded from leaf mines on Quercus spp. with larva feeding in July and from August to October. In a long irregular gallery mine, at first leading directly away from a vein with linear frass, later traversing the leaf and with dispersed frass, the mine being the longest and broadest of the oak-feeding species.

Mine: Moth needs to be reared and, in some cases, possibly dissected.
