Mompha langiella

Fairly common resident in woodland, around old walls, quarries and farm buildings and on wet commons.

Cicaea lutetiana, Epilobium hirsutum, E. montanum and other small willowherb spp. with larva feeding in pale blotch in leaves in June/July. Pupates in a cocoon in the mine, elsewhere on the food plant or amongst detritus.

Adults can be variable in appearance.
