Fairly common resident where the food plant is present.

Mines the leaves of Lime Tilia spp., with larvae feeding in two generations in July and in September/October. Forms a contorted gallery mine, at first mining only the underside of the leaf.

First Recorded in 1887.
Last Recorded in 2023.
