Clepsis peritana

(Clemens, 1860)944a / 49.0388

First record for the UK was in Staffordshire in 2023. It is a species from USA and Canada where it is known as the Garden Tortrix. It has been spreading through Europe so not unexpected here. Whether it came under its own steam or via the horticulture trade is not known. There has since been another record.
