Nematopogon swammerdamella

Fairly common resident.
Flies in May/June with larva feeding from August
to April, probably overwintering twice.
Initial site of ova unknown. Later larvae in a case on dead leaves on the ground. Flies in the evening and at dusk and dawn in and around woodland, and can be beaten from tree foliage in the day.
